Kahlua (Coffee Liqueur) Pecan Pie PDF Print E-mail

kahluapecanpie

A favorite of ours, especially at Thanksgiving. Any brand of kosher coffee flavored liqueur can be used.

Ingredients:

1 8-inch unbaked pie shell
2 tablespoons margarine
1/3 cup sugar
3 large eggs
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 cup Kahlua or any kosher coffee flavored liqueur
3/4 cups pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream margarine and sugar together well. Beat in eggs - one at a time. Stir in corn syrup, liqueur and pecans.

Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 30 minutes (center will be slightly soft but will firm up when cool).

Serve with Kahlua Cream*.

*Kahlua Cream:
Combine 1/2 cup whipping cream* and 2 tablespoon kosher Kahlua or kosher coffee liqueur and beat until soft peaks form.

Notes:

*To make a parve version, substitute parve whipping cream.
